Caldas region, Colombia. Altitude 1,700–1,900 metres. Excelso-grade green coffee and specialty micro-lots — sourced directly, exported by our own Colombian entity, delivered to your roastery.
La Veracruz is a coffee farm in the Caldas region of Colombia — one of the country's most productive and elevation-rich growing areas. The farm sits between 1,700 and 1,900 metres above sea level, where slower cherry development produces denser beans and more concentrated flavour.
We work with Jaime Mejía Ospina, the farm's producer, who has been growing Excelso-grade coffee in this region for years. All our volume lots come from La Veracruz. Our specialty lots are sourced from a neighbouring trusted producer — Sebastián Velásquez — with the same origin integrity.
After harvest and drying, coffee is transported to our milling facility in Manizales, processed by Almacafé, and prepared for export by our Colombian entity, Inversiones Arias Bernal S.A.S. (Invariasbernal).
Javier owns both Invariasbernal and Cafetal — which means the chain from cherry to delivery is controlled, documented, and transparent at every step. There are no brokers, no opaque intermediaries, no unknown margins.
